Garmin 110 Product Description
Let nothing get in the way of you and your run. The easy-to-use Forerunner® 110 sports watch tells you how far and how fast. It’s GPS-enabled to accurately record your time, pace, distance and calories burned. It also comes with a heart rate monitor and provides heart rate-based calorie computations to help you track your calories burned.
There’s no setup required, so you can just press start and run or walk with it. Once your workout’s done, upload to Garmin Connect™ to store and share your data, see the route you travelled on a map and even create goals.
What's the difference between this new Garmin Forerunner 110 and other Garmin Forerunner watches?
The Garmin Forerunner 110 is IPX7 water resistant, the only other Forerunner to have this rating is the Forerunner 310XT. IPX7 means it can go 1m under water for up to 1 hour. You can therefore swim using the Garmin 110.
The Garmin Forerunner 110 will NOT support the Foot POD or GSC10 bike speed / cadence sensor - the 405/405CX and 310XT all support these accessories.
People interested in RUN or BIKE or WALK speed when outside, the 110 is perfect. For those who want to know pedal cadence and might also want bike speed when indoors (on rollers) or run speed on a treadmillIts this is not the watch for you.
The Garmin forerunner 110 GPS is considerably smaller than the Forerunner 310XT, 305 and 405/CX models so it will suit all users wrist sizes.
Basically Garmin have incorporated all the key features from the other models and left out the fiddly ones that most people will not need.
If you need accurate heart rate monitoring with speed, distance and pace for running, cycling or walking, then the forerunner 100 is the sports watch for you.
