07.18.08Really pleased with training this week
New York Marathon (0)I've been out training with a work colleague who has completed a number of marathons including one across the Sahara. Managed to keep us with him and got some personal best times across 4 and 6.5 mile distances. I'm managing 7 to 7.5 minute miles up to about 8 miles now which I am really pleased about. Still averaging 7.5 to 8 on longer runs but the training is stating to pay off. I've done 20 miles so far this week and hope to a short one today (5k) do a long one on Sunday (15 Miles) so will have ...

Latest News (0)Please support our forces in Afghanistan. During July, August and September they are running a race series in Camp Bastion. The race is run similar to the Yateley 10k and is in aid of the Selly Oak Appeal at Birmingham Hospital to raise money to furnish two recently purchased houses for families and friends when they visit Service personnel. SSAFA is the main charity that has contributed so much and they feel as HM Forces that they should do their bit.
