SwimFin - The Modern Day Swimming Aid for Children, Adults and indiviuals with Special Needs
SwimFin arrived onto the market in 2008 and has become a trusted overnight success with Local Authorities, Leisure Management Companies, Swimming Schools, Private Health Clubs, Primary Schools, not to mention the thousands and thousands of Children and Parents.
SwimFin is now becoming a market leader in Swimming aids for children and has developed a brand name in its own right. Children seem to forget about learning to swim, its more FUN when using
SwimFin, they just think their a Shark, Fish, Dolphin or Whale and tests prove that children are now picking up this life saving skill in a fraction of the time that it would take using the old fashioned swimming aids which are often restrictive around the arms and body.
SwimFin is not just a swimming aid though, it's a professional piece of teaching kit, buoyancy aid, a toy. I'ts so versatile, functional and practical, you can use it in so many different ways on different ages and abilities, adults and special needs. What other single piece of equipment can say that.
SwimFin is the modern day new swimming aid, tried and tested to assist children in learning to swim. This buoyancy aid complies to life jacket safety standards and works in more than one particular way. Unlike armbands, discs, life vests, noodles etc,
SwimFin is streamlined and there is no need to inflate, deflate add or remove additional support.
The more
SwimFin is out of the water the less its working, don’t be misled that if your child can swim he/she wont need it. It has been designed so your child is having fun during their swimming lessons, which makes the teacher’s job easier and encourages children into the swimming pool. By promoting the shark /dolphin image children are more inclined to put heir face into the water, enhancing the body position making movement through the water easier.
How does SwimFin work whilst swimming on your back? SwimFin works in several ways, again without the restrictions of armbands or having to hold on to floats etc, the child simply leans on SwimFin for maximum support. Balance can soon be found and a keel action (the same on a yacht) will give stability. But and it’s a great but, with an extra twist, SwimFin will roll the body over to an upright, safe and/or secure standing position.
If your child feels in control, confidence will definitely grow and will learn faster, now that’s priceless. Its multi-stroke functionality, gives that little extra thinking time when it comes to learning Breast stroke, there’s always a struggle in the early stages to co-ordinate the arms and legs.
SwimFin comes in a choice of colours (Red, Black, Blue, Grey, Pink). There are also a range of accessories includinga SwimFin Rucksack. Download the video for a demonstration, read the amazing testimonials. SwimFin can be seen being used in swimming lessons run by local authorities with qualified amateur swimming association (ASA) and the swimming teachers association (STA) instructors, not to mention countless swim schools and clubs.
It’s not just for swimming lessons, take it to your local pool, leisure centre, on holiday, let dad have a go. Made from quality materials, its strong robust design comes with ISO assurance. Its FUN, practical and safe and truly works.

Testimonials for SwimFin
"We've just given our initial two Swim Fins a thorough workout with all ages & abilities. They are fantastic! They worked fine on all four strokes and our more advanced and competent pupils even managed acceptable tumble turns at moderate speed. We found them useful for correcting a rolling sideways bias when practicing turns. Best bit of kit we've ever encountered. This simple yet exciting idea is as revolutionary as the 'woggle' was when it came onto the swimming equipment market many years ago. Kids and staff all love them. We were so impressed that after three days of 'test driving' them we ordered a further THIRTY".
"Just wanted to let you know, my son's swimming class had one of these last week and everyone, children and parents a like were very impressed. The children seemed to go from not being able to swim to mastering it with the fin in a length and what a novel fun way to do it! My 4 year old spent the rest of the week telling everyone he was a shark!"
"The teachers and children at Total Swimming think SwimFin is truly amazing Its so innovative and practical, it makes a huge difference in their physical and mental learning.
I cant imagine why something so effective has never been thought of before. SwimFin has so many benefits but without the restrictions, but above all its fun"

"The Swimfin has gone down really well with our Younger swimmers /Beginners. We have been using them in our adult and child classes and not only are the kids confident the adults seem to have no problems with confidently letting go and allowing the kids to try themselves.
The kids are really confident with them, putting them on with no problems you can see the excitement in there faces. It’s brought some off our less confident kids right up to where other children are in there class!!!
Working very well!!!!!"
"I used my newly purchased SwimFins for the first time in my lessons today. As if by magic, the nervous beginners were transformed into daredevil explorers. The improvers were proud of their relaxed, almost effortless technique. My advanced swimmers enjoyed the challenge of inventing new ways to use their SwimFins in their training schedules. My teachers loved creating games using the SwimFins, which also provided them with plenty of refreshing ideas and new teaching practices. Thanks from all at JH20 Swim School."
"I have just bought a SwimFin which I absolutely love. I am a disabled man with a brain disease called “Cerebellar Ataxia”. This causes me to gradually lose buoyancy – so I can no longer breathe when swimming.
But the Swimfin lifts my torso enough to swim. I can now do freestyle-which I can’t without the fin."
"We used our swimfins today to teach lessons and it just was amazing. We saw some immediate results. Pupils who had been struggling to move from very basic swimming as beginners to a higher quality stoke really showed an improvement."
"I am very impressed by the swimfin. My daughter has Rett Syndrome and is severely disabled. She used to struggle to swim in a straight line, as her right side is weaker than her left, and she used to flip over onto her back. With the swimfin, she can swim almost in a straight line, and she swam 300metres this week wearing it and a single disc on each arm.
Good luck with this product. I have recommended it to other parents."
"I am a swim school in the US and I tested the fin & LOVE IT! I want to buy wholesale so I can re-sell to my customers."
"Sally and I have used the SwimFins all week and the children have really enjoyed them, they have had loads of fun being sharks, dolphins, and whales and like you said one of the children tried to eat another one!!
The parents of the children think that they are brilliant and wanted to know where they could purchase them.
When I have used the SwimFins the children are all smiling, laughing and giggling as they are swimming and the parents are laughing and smiling when watching them.
There has been a lot of positive feedback and I personally think that they are great."

I have recently brought 2 of these fins and I am presently waiting for 6 more to arrive. I own and run a swim school in Abingdon and have encouraged my teachers to try them and they all agree that they are brilliant. We are now going to use them in beginner's and just swims and improver classes where a swimmer may just need a little support (especially when teaching breaststroke).I also work in a local special needs school and although I know theseswimmers are really too big for these fins have had exceptional success with them. It is especially hard to get some of these swimmers to swim in a conventional manner and these have made a huge difference and in a funway. It is always hard to find special equipment for swimmers with special needs that do not cost the earth.Once again thank you for such a simple but practical idea."

"I have lent my fin to one of our swimming instructors on the Wirral and she is absolutely raving about it. he has asked the Swim Wirral coordinator and her manager to purchase some for the centre."

"Well, they arrived yesterday. I actually stopped my lessons and scrambled out of the pool, I was sooooo excited! They are wonderful, terrific, amazing. The children absolutely love them.
I had so many excited 2,3,4,5 year old children today, not wanting to et out of the pool.Well done Kevin. A truly inspired product."
Hilary Silverman, The Little Swim School.
"Many thanks for coming to see us. The Fin is great and I am so glad that its come from a 'traditional teacher' . Probably as no surprise to you, Sam and Molly loved them, they never shut up about it for days, Interesting enough, they both had their swimming lesson later on that night and Sam was far more confident on his back, thank you.I am sure that all Powys pools could benefit not just my own as they will enhance the new Swimming Scheme currently being implemented across the Authority.
Thanks again for a great product."
"SwimFin is great for building confidence! It leaves the arms free and helps with position, and, most important, it's FUN."
