New York Marathon

Longest distance yet….

09.15.08 | No Comments

The training is now fully back on track with only 7 weeks to go now until New Yor.  This last week it has all come together.  Saturday 6th did 18 miles in 2.27 which was amazing then followed the plan this week doing some hill sprints Monday, 10k Tuesday, 8 miles Wednesday and 5 x 1 miles on Friday.  Yesterday, I went out with some friends with the intention of doing 18 miles again and ended up doing 20.5 which was outstanding.

I feel much more confident now going into the Anglesey Marathon next week.  We’ve got 4 good weeks of training left now before tapering so still a chance to get a few good long ones in.

Really pleased…..
