I relunctanly sent a letter last to week to pull out of the London Marathon.  Although my foot is much improved and I have been able to start running again, it is too late now to train to London.  i was up to 14 miles on a long run when the injury happened and I should be at 20-22 miles at least now on a long run.
X-Ray’s showed nothing so all I can assume is that it was an overuse injury.¬† I’ve had ultrasound on it from the physio and all seems well.¬† Did a 4 mile run on sunday pain free.
As i was going to try and finish in under 3.30, I thought it best to defer my place until next year.
I am going to concentrate on Berlin now in September.
