I held off a cold until the New York Marathon and suffered the consequences afterwards.¬† The day after the race the cold came out in all it’s glory and my training dropped to virtually nothing for a couple of weeks.¬† I’ve started running again by not any distance.¬† Fast 5k runs are ok and some 10k runs but I haven’t ventured further than that yet.¬† I’ve also done a bit of gym work and ventured onto the rowing machine.
I need to brave the elements and get back up to 25 to 30 miles a week as a base for London training…
