Swimming

James Hickman. 
The 5 times World Champion retired from competitive swimming in December 2004. James competed in 3 Olympic Games (Atlanta, Sydney and Athens) and was supported by Science in Sport for over 11 years of his illustrious career. For more information on James visit www.jameshickman.com

Stephen Parry.
Stephen achieved his life long ambition by winning an Olympic Bronze medal in the 200m Butterfly in Athens and has since retired. Stephen was one of the first swimmers to be supported by Science in Sport back in the early 90’s and was ironically involved in early research regarding the mental performance of age group swimmers during school following hard and consistent early morning training. Graeme Smith.
Another athlete that Science in Sport supported from the early 90’s who also retired after the Athens Olympics following a long and illustrious career. Graeme won an Olympic Bronze medal in 1996 and competed in 3 Olympic Games.

British Record Holder and Commonwealth Bronze Medalist.

Rebecca Cooke.
Double Commonwealth Champion and holder of 5 British Records.

Sarah Price.
Double Commonwealth Champion, 3 British Records.

Triathlon

 The Science in Sport team includes World Class athletes Tanja Slater, Steph Forrester and Richard Jones who recently finished 13th in Ironman Austria in a time of 9hs 44 min’s. Other members of distinction are top duathletes Jonathan Wills and Caroline Kloiber.

Sailing

Laura Baldwin.
Olympian Laura Baldwin (now competing in the Laser Radial class which will replace the Europe Class in the Beijing Olympics) continues to be supported by Science in Sport. Felix Limo.
One of the best marathon runners in the world today. Winner of Berlin Marathon 2004, Rotterdam Marathon 2004, Chicago Marathon 2005 and London Marathon 2006.

Triple jump World Record holder.

Michael East.

Rugby

St Helens RLFC.
Rugby league challenge cup winners 2007, and the most successful team of the modern era.

Hull KR.

Football
